I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of St. Gallen (HSG), where I am working on a habilitation thesis on Verhältnismässigkeit und Akteursperspektive im modernen Verwaltungsstaat, supported by the Swiss National Science Foundation and the HSG-Grundlagenforschungsfonds. Before coming to St. Gallen, I spent three years at the University of Oxford, where I was an Early Career Fellow at the Bonavero Institute of Human Rights and a member of Lincoln College. Besides my research, I also work as a lecturer in administrative law and public procedural law at the University of Zurich and teach constitutional law at the University of St.Gallen.
I did my PhD on Public Law Analogies in International Legal Theory at the University of Zurich. During this time, I was also (together with Nesa Zimmermann) the managing editor for the handbook Verfassungsrecht der Schweiz / Droit constitutionnel suisse, edited by Oliver Diggelmann (Zurich), Maya Hertig Randall (Geneva) and Benjamin Schindler (St. Gallen), published in January 2020.
